UAE and India have recently signed the landmark Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The partnership between UAE and India is all set to establish a new period of strategic cooperation between the two countries, boost the bilateral economic and investment ties. The agreement was signed during a virtual summit and the leaders of the two nations, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zyed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed forces and Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India signed the agreement on behalf of the two nations.

India has been UAE’s number one trading partner for non-oil exports and is held as a strategic partner for the nation. The deal aims to provide significant benefits to the UAE and Indian businesses, and this shall some very significant steps.

The deal is also a getaway to markets in West Asia and Africa, will create new jobs, raise the living standards and provide wider opportunities, both social and economic for both the nations.
